# Detrack REST API v2

> Detrack REST API v2 lets you create jobs, manage depots, plan routes, and track deliveries in real time from any application.

The Detrack API is a REST API for building delivery, fleet, and last-mile logistics workflows on top of Detrack. Use it to create and update jobs, manage depots and routes, export proof of delivery, and track driver progress.

```text theme={null}
https://app.detrack.com/api/v2
```

## What you can do

* **Create and manage delivery jobs**: Push orders into Detrack one at a time or in bulk, up to 100 per request.
* **Assign and reschedule**: Assign jobs to drivers, update statuses, and reattempt failed jobs.
* **Plan routes**: Build optimized routes from a depot with multiple drivers and time windows.
* **Manage depots**: Register warehouse and pickup locations for use in routes.
* **Export proof of delivery**: Download PODs and shipping labels as PDF or TIFF, individually or in bulk.

## Standards

* Timestamps are ISO 8601 in UTC with milliseconds, for example `2026-09-15T06:04:06.017Z`. Dates are `YYYY-MM-DD`.
* All requests and responses use `application/json`.
* Errors follow standard HTTP status codes. See [Errors](/errors).
* Keep request volume low with bulk endpoints. See [Rate limits](/rate-limits).
